Backgrounds for this film will be rendered in Illustrator and be flat shapes with some shading in parts to add depth. These are some quick concept paintings done in Photoshop to help me get the idea for colors and composition down, though the idea for the colors has now changed.
I do not mind if a layout artist only wants to do a tight sketch of the backgrounds, as I am fine with coloring them myself, although being able to color them illustrator is a big plus.
